Use the hint ladder one rung at a time. Start with the letter count to confirm the length, then check the first letter, then the vowels, and read the clue only if you still need it. Each step tells you a little more without spoiling the whole word. Stop as soon as you have enough to guess, and head back to your grid before you scroll down to the answer.

How does the PlayClick Daily Word work?
One shared 5-letter word each day, the same for every player. You get six guesses. Tiles tell you which letters are correct and in the right spot, correct but misplaced, or not in the word at all.
What is in the hint ladder?
Four steps, from softest to strongest: the letter count, the first letter, the vowels in the word, and a short clue. Read them in order and stop when you have enough. The full answer stays lower down under a spoiler line.
When does the answer update?
A new word goes live each day, and this page updates with it. The day's answer appears once that day's puzzle is active, so today's word is always the one shown here at the top.
Can I see past answers?
Yes. Scroll to the archive below the answer to find previous days. Each entry lists the date and its word, so you can check yesterday or fill in any you skipped.
Will reading a hint spoil the puzzle?
Only as much as you let it. Each rung reveals a little more, and you choose how far to go. Take one nudge, go back to your grid, and leave the rest unread until you truly need it.
